It was the gaze that held him there rooted to the spot, the same eyes that he had inherited, cold, grey and steely. He could see the disappointment in those eyes. His father hadn’t said a word when Draco had walked into the room, just looked at him. Draco felt like he was on the edge of crying, but he stood there waiting for his father to say something. Draco wished his father would say something, anything so that he could explain it all. Draco waited but Lucius never spoke. Instead he stood up and walked out of the room.
