Title: things that pass
Pairing: none, possible H/D
Rating: PG13
Challenge: Time
Word Count: 100
Seeing you crying in the bathroom broke me- almost as painful as my nose earlier this year. If only I had seen that side on our first meeting, we could have been circling each other for far more pleasant reasons. I wondered sometimes whether such strong animosity can be maintained unchanging? Was your crucio real, or the act of a cornered animal? Could you have come to like me? As it stands, we have run out of time, we will never be close again either as friend or foe, and all that remains is a lifetime of regret – however short.
NB trying out drabbles, if it is not in the spirit of the community please let me know (also because Draco is the second person in this) and also if the writing is just plain awful (as early attempts are wont to be).
