Title: Requiem
Word Count: 100
Pairing: Draco, mentioning of Harry, Lucius
Rating: none
Challenge: Daddy
A/N: Sorry 'bout the mood (it's such a phantastic weather outside, and I've got to work ;-))
On a cold and grey november morning, Lucius Malfoy was laid to rest.
Draco shivered. Wrapping himself up in his black robes, he tried to hold the unexpected fit of emotions at bay.
“Why tears”, he scolded himself. Despite all doubts he had never, not once regretted his decision; not even after... oh, Harry, Harry…
He didn’t know why he felt these needs - to have his father buried here, among their ancestors, to still adhere to the family tradition, to retain so painful a memory.
He only knew that never in his life before, he had felt so forlorn.
Title: Ways of Defeat
Word Count: 100
Pairing: Lucius, Narcissa, mentioning of Harry (er, and Draco, of course)
Challenge: Daddy
Rating: none
A/N: See above...
“Potter is defeated,“ Lucius Malfoy announced triumphantly as he entered his wife’s chamber.
Although Narcissa was slightly annoyed at being disturbed, a cold, satisfied smile spread across her beautiful face. “Finally! So, was his death -”
“There is, my consort, more than one way to destroy a person so burdened with unnecessary emotions.”
“But - he’s still alive, then?”
“Alive, but deprived of his dearest.” Absentmindedly grabbing a silken shawl to wipe his bloodstained hands, he turned towards the door.
“His… his dearest? What do you mean? L-lucius…What DID YOU…”
Her increasing screams followed him as he descended the staircase.
