He was not going to give his life to the Dark Lord. That sodding Mudblood was nothing more than a hypocrite.
His father had told him all about the honor, the pride, the gratification in serving. There was none. And when she had been killed, he couldn’t do it anymore.
He picked up a vase and hurled it across the room, his anger increasing as it shattered against the wall.
“Fuck!” he screamed.
He stormed across the room and picked up a piece of the broken vase and began to scratch at his Dark Mark until blood began to flow.

It helped to get worked up before the raids, get the energy up, get pissed off. If your vision was tainted black, it was easy to kill, easy to laugh as some bint begged you not to rape her, easy to Crucio everyone in your pathway.
His own method of getting pissed was to remember the way Ginny Weasley held onto effing Potter. He recalled the way her eye burned against him, as she let Potter kiss her neck, not enjoying the bastard, but tormenting Draco.
She’d left Draco for good when the Dark Mark was burned into his skin.
