The week had been absolutely horrid, but when he heard that Ginny Weasley still didn’t have a date to the Yule Ball, things began to improve.

But he was shocked to turn the corner and find her pressed against the wall, vigorously snogging . . . Pansy?

“Well,” he smiled widely, “I was going to ask you to the Ball, but I think I’ll just ask the two of you to my room.”

Pansy nodded and stepped away, but Ginny frowned as she buttoned her shirt, blocking his view of her breasts. “I don’t think so. I don’t date males.”
