Title: Wilted Blossom

Challenge: Childhood Memory
Notes: This was written from the idea of Best Friends at slytherin100. I liked the idea their friendship, and yay for getting to expand on it a bit. And for the person he kills, I was thinking Lucius but couldn't figure out how to put it in.


Standing over the lifeless body, Draco felt anguish, which is quite unusual as it’s not a Malfoy sentiment. He hadn’t killed the person, wouldn’t have done that to a true friend. Sides of the war had blurred and unexpected people had moved. She had, and he didn’t know why; a hazard guess would be love.

However a memory bubbled up suddenly.  After calling her ugly, he had fallen on his arse. Or rather, she had pushed him. At that point he had known he would love her forever, and had.

With a heated curse, her murderer fell on blood-soaked ground.
