Is it sad, he wonders, that he’d forgotten what it was like to feel this way? Draco tries to remember, but it’s hard to imagine something that hums in the marrow rather than just sits in one’s head.
Perhaps when he was still studying? It feels like so long ago. All this spell theory, pulled out and dusted off after too many months. It feels brand new.
It feels like joy.
