“It’s not funny,” he protests, catching the tiniest twitch of a smile in the corner of Harry’s mouth.

“I’m not laughing at you,” Harry says. “I was just picturing you fussing over our own—” He breaks off, cheeks flushing. It takes Draco a moment to catch the implication, and then he’s turning away too, pink-cheeked, the both of them likely making an awkward spectacle of themselves.

Draco can’t find it in himself to care all that much.

“Bye Uncle Harry, bye Draco!” Teddy calls, running off. Draco watches him leave, and imagines a different child running off into the grass.
