It’s not a new house by any means. It’s not even new to Draco; he’s been here before. It was several years ago though, and the townhouse has been standing empty since he started at Hogwarts, cared for by a small team of house-elves.
It feels new though, standing in the front hall, untouched by Death Eaters and the D—
“Won’t you be lonely?” his mother had asked, smoothing a hand over his shoulder. Draco had shaken his head.
“I need a—”
Draco takes a deep breath, and lets himself feel the new but familiar magic of the Bath house.
