Lucius Malfoy did not take to parenting very well; it frustrated him.  Near the point of breaking, he sat down by his son and started to quiz once again.

 

“Who am I Draco?  What’s my name?” he tried in his most pleasant voice.

 

“Dum-dee,” spurted the drool bubbling boy.

 

No, Draco, Daddy.

 

“Dum-dee!!”, the tot giggled while clapping his tiny hands.

 

“Daddy!”

 

“Dum-dee…”

 

“DADDY!!!” Lucius bellowed.  Quickly rising to his feet he met Narcissa with his cold stare.

 

“Oh yes, isn’t he just precious,” he patronized.

 

“Some all-powerful wizard we are?” she countered.

 

“Quiet woman,” he spat leaving their presence.
