Before Draco could react, Potter leaned in and pressed their lips together. Draco froze for a moment, then surrendered to the kiss with a muffled moan. His head buzzed like he'd downed several cocktails at dinner, and his pulse hammered in his throat...and lower.
Potter raised his head and stepped back, smiling a little. "Wow," he said. "That was terrifying and fun all at once, like when Sprout had us don earmuffs in preparation for those baby Mandrakes in Herbology class. I'm babbling. Sorry."
Draco smiled back at him, pleased that his kiss had reduced Potter to a babbling mess.
