Pansy cornered Draco again before lunch. "Whom are you going to the Interhouse party with next weekend?" she asked.

"Who says I'm going to the party?" Draco drawled in response.

Pansy's eyes flashed, but she stayed the course. "If you don't have a date, I hear Finch-Fletchley is available, as is Potter."

Draco was aware his friend was gauging his reaction to her fishing expedition. He raised a brow in pretend interest. "Finch-Fletchley, you say? I do like dark-haired blokes."

"Then why don't you ask Potter?!" Pansy blurted.

"Harry Potter?" Draco gasped in mock surprise. "He doesn't even like me."
