"It won't be cancelled because of rain," Draco scoffed without hesitation.
Pansy seemed torn between smiling and scowling. She settled for a warning. "I'll be keeping a sharp eye on you," she said. "If you meet anyone, whether it's Filch or someone else, I'll know."
"Ew."
"Shut it, Greg."
As the Slytherins entered the Great Hall for breakfast, Draco studiously avoided looking at the Gryffindor table. Pansy would know about Potter soon enough, but Draco found it amusing to keep her guessing. He'd told Potter that he wanted to play it cool for now, and Potter had agreed with him.
