“What are you feeding the Nargles with today?” Luna asks. They’re sitting in her garden, Draco handing flowers to Luna from a basket which she then adds to the wreath she’s weaving. The chaos of colour should look awful, but instead it’s brilliant.
“Lots of things,” Draco says after a while. The sun is warm on his bare feet, a cloud shading his eyes. “Duty, responsibility, expectation.”
Luna hums. “Sometimes we have expectations for ourselves that we think others share, but they don’t.”
She slips the last daisy into the wreath, and doesn’t need the chrysanthemum that Draco has ready.
