Slowly as if not wanting to even do it Severus slid the sleeve of his coat upward and revealed what Draco knew to already be there.

The rain fell down.

Draco’s breath caught in his throat. He grasped his cloak and pulled it tightly against himself. Trying to hold himself together, pull himself together. This was after all what he wanted, wasn’t it? His eye’s travelled down the exposed arm till he saw the serpent entwining the skull.

In the dying light, as the sun set over the horizon it almost looked like the snake was crying tears of blood.

If I just sit here and wait, bide my time, until everyone is gone.  I’ve been waiting for such a long time, a time such as this.  Just him alone, all to myself.

“Petrificus Totalus!"

This is so unlike a Malfoy, to resort to physical violence.  It’s such a base act, but I think father would approve.  I can see the fear in his eye’s, I lift my fine leather boot and bring it down hard.  The sound of cartilage cracking and the spray of blood is enough…for now.

As a parting gift, I step on his hand.
