100 words. Challenge #2: Fireworks.
A/N: Draco is a child in this - probably pre-Hogwarts.

Draco watched in silence as he saw fireworks going off in the distance. His face was pressed against the window in his father’s study and his eyes were wide with awe.

“They’re so pretty,” he said in a hushed voice.

“Away from the window,” Lucius barked from his desk.

Draco jumped and recoiled instantly, turned to face his father and looked at him in shame. “I was only looking at the pretty lights in the sky,” he said in a timid voice.

“Out,” Lucius commanded and waved dismissively at Draco.

Draco hung his head in submission and whispered, “Yes, father.”
