"Where were you last night?"

Draco bristled at Pansy's waspish tone, but he adopted an expression of boredom. If she sensed she'd struck a nerve, Pansy wouldn't let up on it. "Out," Draco replied to her question.

Pansy's eyes narrowed. "Did you skive off to meet someone?"

"Yes, Pansy. I'm having a torrid affair with Filch."

"Ew," Greg grimaced.

"Very funny," snapped Pansy. "Whom did you really meet?"

"Maybe I just wanted some fresh air," Draco said.

"You can get plenty of fresh air at Hogsmeade this weekend," said Pansy. "That is, if they don't cancel it because of rain."
