Title: Reflections in the pumpkin patch
Author / Artist:

Prompt: The pumpkin patch
Character: Draco Malfoy
Rating: G
Word count: 100
Notes: Unbeta'd
Summary: Draco takes a short break from the Room of Requirement.
I lean back, resting my head against the soft flesh of a rotting pumpkin, and glance up at the lights of the castle.
The brisk October chill sends goosebumps rippling across my skin, but it’s a welcome change from the stale air of the Room of Hidden Things.
I turn to face the forest. I served detention there during First Year; I was terrified. Little did I know, people can be more monstrous than any of the beasts which reside there.
I’ll stay here just a little while longer, then I’ll go back and try again.
There’s no other option.
